I'm reading a novel titled "The five people you meet in heaven" written by Mitch Albom(one of my favorite authors).
Though I'm still on the way reading it, I already found out that it is really a great one. Already met two impressive passages which I can never forget.
Here are those passages;
"No life is a waste. The only time we waste is the time we spend thinking we are alone."
"Learn this from me. Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves. ...You need to forgive your father."
The affectionate, gentle, profound expressions and story devour me, heal my heart, encourage me a lot. I'm thinking about the meaning of those words all the time.
I want every friend to feel the beauty of the passages, and that's why I write about the book here.
今、“The five people you meet in heaven”という本を読んでいます。 私の好きな、ミッチ・アルボムさんという作家さんの書いた小説です。
Last weekend, I saw a very cool, fabulous, exciting movie. It is called "The Green Honrnet". A typical action comedy, such as "Spider Man" or "Super Man".
Filled with lots of lots of dreams and fantasies everybody had in our childhood; fighting, friendship, playing tricks, pretending to be heroes... I really like it:)
And everybody would say, I bet, the coolest guy in the movie is not "Green Hornet" himself, but rather, his assistant Kato!! I've fallen in love with Jay Chou, a Taiwanese actor who's playing the role of Kato:) (*Oh! Of course, Brit himself was a nice character too!! He was so funny and bright!)
Kato is a Chinese boy who used to be a driver of Brit's dead father, who is a talented machine inventor, who is a strong karate fighter, who is a great pianist, and a delicious coffee maker!!
Interestingly, Kato is very much like Jay Chou himself; for Jay Chou also has a lot of talentss; he can play the piano, celo, guitar, violin, Japanese shamisen; in addition, he is the most popular singer in Asia, and also a good actor, and good at playing basketball, nunchaks... Kato is usually so quiet, calm and modest, but once he starts fighting, he's so manish and passionate. A new type attractive hero:)
And for the first time in the movie I knew that he is a perfect English speaker!! (In one interview, he said he learned English for only ONE MONTH...is it true!?!?!?!?)
I thought as if Jay Chou was born to play the role of Kato!!*lol* Nobody can play the role of Kato except for Jay!!
The friendship of Brit and Kato reminds me of the funny duo, of Chris Tucker and Jacky Chan in "Rush Hour". A talkative funny white guy and a shy sincere-looking Asian guy... They are good combi:)
Especially I couldn't stop laughing at the scene when Kato and Brit were singing Coolio's hit song ♪"Gangster Paradise" together in "Black Beaty"(a car invented by Kato.)
The two boys are so stupid(in a good meaning*lol*) but I couldn't stop falling in love with them^^ They are so funny and cute!!
